Berry Small, Berry Cute

I made this for my son's first grade teacher:

I plan to frame it in this wooden hoop, with this swatch of fabric as a backing:

This strawberry is so teensy-weensy! I didn't whip out the measuring tape, but I estimate it to be about 2x2 inches. I am such a sucker for anthropomorphic fruits & veggies, especially when they're so tiny and cute! How 'bout you?

Next up: wedding stitchery. Stay tuned!
