Halloween in July Stitchalong!

Hello and Happy July First! Can you believe the year is already half over?

So, last year at this time, my friend Julie and I kicked off our Christmas in July Stitchalong. It was great getting a head start on handmade Christmas gifts, and I had a blast stitching alongside Julie and comparing notes at the end of each week. We were all set to do it all again this year when Julie pointed something out to me:  last year, despite the fun we were having making Christmas gifts, we had been longing to work on Halloween pieces pretty much the whole time. We both love Halloween stitching so very much, and decided to go ahead to turn our Christmas in July Stitchalong into a Halloween in July Stitchalong!

This stitchalong is going to be very laid back, just like last year's was. No pressure, no deadlines. We are simply going to work on the Halloween piece (or pieces!) of our choosing during the month of July. (I think that we're both leaning toward Prairie Schooler patterns, so fun!) Each Monday, we will update you with our progress.

Stay tuned for some adorably frightful stitching!
