Two Finishes

Hey there, Stitchy Peeps!

Well, I did it: I picked up some WIPS and managed to finish two of them. YAY ME!! Tee hee.

First up, Wubbzy, which technically wasn't a new WIP, but a WIP all the same:

wubbzy's done

And now....something of which I am quite proud to have finished, simply because I did not know what to do with the eyes:

hello gorgeous!

twinkle in her eye

I used metallic floss for the eyes. I hate working with that stuff, even in small amounts. BUT--I think it's worth the pain. ;) Look at how sparkly her eyes are!! I love them.

Ok, that's all for now, folks. I have plans to work on another WIP tonight, if all goes well. (And by "if all goes well" I mean if my kiddos go to bed at a decent hour and don't leave me too tired to think, let alone stitch. Ha!) So hopefully I will be back in a day or two (or three, let's be realistic, lol) with some more pics to share with you. Until then...

Happy Stitching!

The eyes are fantastic! Almost make me dare to try metallic floss again... xo

Love the close ups of the flower Kristi! So Cute. That is funny that you are doing that little apple. There weren't any words on the pattern that I copied it from on Doe C Doe's site, so I was flying a little blind on that plum and that pear :) I wasn't sure about the color for the apple's legs either. I would be curious to see how you interpreted it.

metallic floss is a HUGE pain but it does look oh so pretty. Great job as always.
