I have been working toward some of the stitching goals I set for myself, and so far, so good. Here is just one of them.

I picked out a fabulous Nora Corbett pattern, "Gardenia." I am so
smitten with this design! I opted for something from Corbett's smaller
Pixie Couture line rather than one her larger Mirabilia patterns (like I
had originally planned) because I thought I had a better chance of
completing the smaller Pixie pattern.
I've also been poking around the internet in search of a good granny square tutorial, and I found one that clicked with me. I will share my very first granny square with you soon. Stay tuned!

You've made a lot of progress. I will love to watch it grow. When you say 'granny squares', so you mean crochet?
Wow, you're coming along on that! Those colors are so gorgeous, Kristi; the package cover doesn't do justice to just how pretty the floss colors are. Is this project what you're primarily spending your stitchy time on right now?
Thank you, ladies. :) Yeah, I am referring to crochet. I thought I had granny squares figured out, but I guess I didn't, lol. Somehow, the method I used to make them yesterday fell out of my head today! I will try again tomorrow.
Yep, Gardenia is taking up most of my stitchy time these days. Shes's been my companion during my Parenthood binges. :):)
I was going to do an update too but I haven't even worked on any of my goals. :(
What a gorgeous pattern. The colors are so pretty!
I agree with everyone else… the colors are super fab! Looking forward to seeing your crochet work.
