Hey there, Stitchy Peeps!
So, I've had this WIP for a while now...not a whole lot of progress has been made, but I did put a few stitches in it last night. Here it is:
(Pattern by Little House Needleworks.)
I really love the bluish-grayish Lugana and overdyed floss.
There is something about the ankles that I find adorable.
Does that make me weird?
Like I said, I haven't gotten much done on this project, but so far I am really enjoying it.
There is just something about flowers made up of little x's...they really make me smile! :)
This is going to be for me. All mine!! I still have a bunch of other things I should be working on (onesies, for example), but sometimes I just don't want to do what I should do. Eh. I know I will get everything done, in due time...which is in less than a month. Hmmm, I really ought to get started on those darn onesies!
So, apparently I will be back soon, beloved bloggers, with pics of onesies to share! Until then...
Happy Stitching!

Awww! That looks so cute!
it's going to be lovely, i have cross stitched a couple of times before, but now that i embroider, i just don't have the patience to count the squares.... but cross stitch is different from embroidery and there are some lovely cross stitch pieces out there that just don't "translate" well into embroiedery, you know?
love, love, love this. such nice, perfect stitches. i'm working on a needlepoint right now that my mom started in the 60s. i'm finally finishing it, long after mom has passed away. what she began and touched, i will complete. :o) it's actually a happy thing, though it may sound sad. love your blog. --robin
Jigsaw, Bethie, THANK YOU! :) You gals make me smile.
Robin-WOW, thank you so much for your sweet words.
I think it's so cool that you're finishing something your mother started. I perused your blog (which I LOVE by the way, you can expect me to stalk you now ;)), and read a bit about your mom. Such a beautiful woman!
It's been a while. Hope you're doing great! :)
